A little something to get you started...
Airen Miller was born and raised in Arlington, Texas in August of 1980. Her mother noticed that she had great artistic talent when, at the age of 3, Airen colored different shades of green and added detail to a corn plant she was drawing. Airen was constantly making art for her family, teachers and friends. Her talents allowed her to design the cover as well as internal art for the Jr. High yearbook during her 9th grade year at Gunn Jr. High. While at Arlington High School, Airen found a love of painting and design. She helped to design posters and advertisements for the school musicals and designed the program for her high school prom. After graduation, Airen attended Tarrant County College (TCC) pursuing a degree in graphic design. After a decision to discontinue her graphics degree, Airen left TCC. She worked in areas where graphic design was prevalent but decided this was not for her. In 2008, Airen enrolled at the University of Texas at Arlington pursuing a degree in Art Certification. She graduated from UTA with a BFA in 2015. She currently is the art teacher at Key Elementary in Arlington, Texas.
Airen enjoys spending time with her husband, Landon, her son, Sam, daughter Iley, and their 2 dogs, Addie and Lexi. She also enjoys painting, building her collection of Beatles memorabilia, knitting, comics, and going to the movies and learning new things (currently ukulele and resin casting!).
